Romeo and Juliet-William Shakespeare

I have been reading several books this month.
But I’m going to tell write about Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

Story
The story is set in Verona. In that city, there were two family called Montague and Capulet. There was one young guy named Romeo belong to the Motague family and one girl Juliet belong to the Capulet. One day Romeo and his friends sneak in to the Capulets party and Romeo meets Juliet. They both fell in love when they first saw each other. But, beacuse there family are againt each other they couldn’t meet each other easily.
As the story goes on, Romeo encounters lots of problems family problems, friends problem and so on. Will Romeo and Juliet live happily ever after??

I think this was a really good story. This is a really famous story so I think most of people knows the ending without reading it. Also the famous phrases in the story. I really liked the book but I liked the movie too! I strongly recommend reading this book!!

The destructor

We did a discussion on “The Destructor”

I was a summarizer so I described the whole story. The story was about the group of boys named The Wormsley Gang. They tries to destroy Mrs. Thomas’s house who is called Old Misery through the boys. They sneak in to the misery’s house and started to break inside the house. Suddenly, old misery came back earlier than they have expected so, they locked him up and destroyed the whole house.
Then, Natsuko described some definition of the word. I thought the meaning of’Trevor’ was really interesting I didn’t understand why the gangs were laughing at his name.
Miki pointed out the important passage from the book. She chose were the gangs leader switched I also thought this part is important. I think from this incident, whole story starts.
Next, Reina pointed out the connection to the real life. She said that when we were very little, we saw some people making fun of their names. Like Trevor in the book was also trated like that.
At last, Megumi asked us interesting questions. What do you think the Old Misery would do next?? We didn’t think about that so it was a really hard question. But I personally think that he wouldn’t revenge the ganags because he seems to be a nice man. If he revenge them, I think they will do some kind of revenge again and it will never stop.

I really had fun discussing about this story. I’ve never read this kind of books so it was really interesting. But, I still don’t get why they tried to break tha house.
